How pages are counted
You pay for verdicts, not attempts.
- A page is about 3,000 characters
- Roughly one printed page. A one-paragraph clause is a fraction of a page and is rounded up to one; a 40-clause contract is about 12.
- You see the cost before it runs
- The document is split locally before any model call, so the console shows "this document needs 12 pages" and asks before spending.
- Failed checks are refunded
- If a rule search or verification cannot complete, the passage is marked not assessed and its pages are returned. You pay for verdicts, not attempts.
- Re-runs are free for 30 days
- Verifying the same document against the same rulebook version again costs nothing, so fixing a clause and checking it is never a second charge.
- Rulebooks are free to build
- Uploading regulations, tariffs and SOPs into a rulebook does not use pages, up to the plan's storage limit. Better rulebooks make better verdicts.
